Deepening Your Core Capacity: Readiness for ICF Credentials (ACC & PCC)
An ICF Credential is more than just an exam—it is a mirror reflecting who you are as an international coaching professional.

There is a significant bridge to cross between learning coaching and becoming a genuinely grounded, practicing coach. You may have completed Level 1 or Level 2. You understand the Core Competencies—how to establish Agreements, cultivate Trust & Safety, listen deeply, remain present, and Evoke Awareness. Yet, when sitting before a real client, coaching does not unfold as neatly categorized competencies. You must embody and integrate everything simultaneously—your skills, observational capacity, presence, and your entire Being.
It is precisely at this threshold that deeper questions emerge:
Where is my coaching conversation actually leading?
What within me is subtly shaping the client’s space?
What is my next development edge?
How do I bridge the gap from practicing coaching to building a sustainable profession?
Where does coaching fit within the broader canvas of my life and career?
This is the exact space Transformative 9 (T9) was created to inhabit alongside you.
What a coach lacks after formal training is rarely another stack of conceptual frameworks. What is far scarcer is an environment sustained over time where one can continuously experience the reflective loop:
Learn → Practice → Be Observed → Receive Feedback → Reflect → Experiment → Return to Practice
When this cycle operates over a dedicated duration, knowledge gradually settles into embodiment. You no longer ask yourself mid-session, "Which competency should I deploy now?" Instead, coaching becomes a living reflex—an authentic, natural presence responsive to every moment of the dialogue. This is why T9 is structured as a long-term developmental ecosystem rather than a packaged course.
The T9 journey breathes through three interconnected dimensions: PRESENCE · PRACTICE · PROFESSION.
01. PRESENCE — What Do You Bring Into the Room?
A coach never enters a session with merely questions and techniques. We bring our entire bodily state, emotions, assumptions, subtle judgments, hidden fears, the urge to rescue, the need for the session to "reach an outcome"—and our own discomfort with the unknown. Presence in T9 is never about "appearing calm" or wearing a professional mask.
It is the capacity to:
Recognize what is quietly arising within yourself;
Self-regulate mocrically without suppressing your internal experience;
Differentiate clearly between what belongs to the Coach and what belongs to the Client;
Hold a grounded, open, and responsive state before whatever unfolds.
Presence cannot be memorized. It is forged through practice, honest reflection, and those quiet moments when you begin to see yourself clearly in the mirror of the session.
02. PRACTICE — Translating Knowledge into Authentic Capability
Knowing the Core Competencies intellectually is one thing; embodying them fluidly in a live session is quite another. In T9, Practice is engineered so you never have to navigate the dark alone. You engage through multiple mirrors: Peer Coaching · Coaching Labs · Live Demos · Hot Seats · Deep Reflections.
Practicum sessions are observed and debriefed using ICF Core Competencies and PCC-level indicators. The objective is never to perform a "flawless coaching session." The true intention is to illuminate:
- Your innate Strengths;
- Your Recurring Patterns and subtle habits;
- Your unexamined Blind Spots;
- Your emerging Development Edges.
The ultimate aim is to expand your range of choice in any given moment of a session, freeing you from habitual, automated coaching responses.
03. PROFESSION — Bringing Coaching Out of the Classroom and Into Life
Mastering the craft is the foundation. But to make coaching a meaningful, sustainable part of your profession, deeper structural questions must be answered:
- Who am I when I coach?
- Whom am I truly called to serve?
- What role does coaching play in my broader career—Full-time Coach, Internal Coach, or integrated into my leadership?
- How do I value and price my work honorably?
- How do I build a Coaching Practice that honors the life I actually want to live?
In T9, you experiment directly with these questions by defining your coaching identity, shaping authentic offers, working with real clients, receiving supervision-informed feedback, and crafting a financial architecture aligned with your reality. You never need to morph into a noisy salesperson just to "sell coaching." The goal is to learn to run a business as a coach—rooted in integrity, identity, and quiet dignity.
PROSPERITY MINDSET — The Coach’s Relationship with Worth and Money
Woven throughout T9 is a dedicated thread: Prosperity Mindset for Coaches. Frequently, the hurdle is not a lack of marketing tactics; it is an unexamined internal relationship with money, worth, and sufficiency.
A coach may often:
- Hesitate to quote fees due to underlying discomfort with receiving;
- Underprice services out of an unconscious fear of client rejection;
- Feel compelled to "guarantee client success" to validate their own worth;
- View fellow coaches through a lens of scarcity and competition;
- Generate good income yet remain trapped in a persistent anxiety of loss.
T9 does not treat Prosperity Mindset as a superficial "positive thinking" workshop. It is a sustained line of reflection and behavioral experimentation running across the 9 months, inviting you to heal and mature your relationship with money, value, and your professional vocation.
Each active training month operates on a rhythmic, deliberate cycle:
| Week | Modality | Focus & Experiential Intent |
| WEEK 1 |
Core Learning |
Deepening ICF Core Competencies, real-world case analysis, and Live Master Demos. |
| WEEK 2 |
Coaching Lab |
High-intensity Peer Coaching in small pods. Experiment, stumble, recalibrate, and observe each other. |
| WEEK 3 |
Group Mentoring |
Hot Seat Coaching with direct Mentor feedback to pinpoint Development Edges and limiting session patterns. |
| WEEK 4 |
Reflection & Integration |
Journaling, self-assessment, coaching log integration, and dedicated inquiry into Finance / Prosperity Mindset. |
This rhythm ensures you do not merely "consume content," but continuously bring live field data back into the sanctuary of the group to observe, integrate, and re-test.
Transformative 9 spans 9 months of structured development & 2 months of personal projects, organized across 2 semesters. Conducted online via Zoom in Vietnamese (ICF CCE accreditation is currently in progress).
The personal project windows are not "breaks" from learning. They are dedicated periods where you take what is maturing within you into the real world: working with live clients, testing offers, or launching an authentic coaching initiative. You then bring that lived data back into mentoring and reflection.

What we anticipate at the conclusion of this journey is not a thicker binder of notes. It is the quiet inner realization that:
Tina Dang: Wandering the path alone is certainly an option. If you are comfortable spending 3 to 5 years trial-and-erroring your way through, that is entirely valid. But if your intention is to step solidly into professional practice within 1 to 2 years, having experienced, trustworthy guides who have walked the path before you is vital.
They do not merely save you from costly detours; they offer sharp, compassionate mirrors so you can iterate continuously. Moving into professional practice is far more than applying classroom techniques—it demands the integration of technical skill, internal groundedness, and the capacity to steward a small practice of your own. T9 exists to walk that complete arc with you.
Tina Dang: I have no critique of articulate trainers or high standards—in fact, we hold exceptionally rigorous professional standards at T9. However, the feeling of "not being good enough" usually stems from an environment that lacks psychological openness and fails to place the learner at the center.
At T9, we operate the learning space using the Coaching Mindset itself. Everything you bring—your identity, current skill level, awkwardness, internal contradictions, and growth desires—is honored as rich data to help trainers and mentors tailor the support. It is a student-centered sanctuary; all that is required from you is curiosity toward yourself and trust in your mentors.
Tina Dang: In T9, there is no concept of "passing or failing"—there is only the journey of self-awareness and self-refinement. I often tell my students: Better to sweat on the training ground than to bleed on the battlefield.
Every misstep in practice is not a failure; it is a precious doorway to observe yourself and adjust. If we pretend to be flawless coaches in the classroom, our first real-world clients will pay the price for our unexamined clumsiness, and we will lose the very people we desire to serve. Be vulnerable, face your rough edges, and experiment with new choices in the safety of T9.
Tina Dang: We naively assume technical brilliance must precede everything in coaching, but that is an illusion. Your internal state of Being dictates what manifests externally.
If you are fragile inside but attempt to wear a mask of professional composure, clients instinctively feel that subtle anxiety and withdraw. Conversely, when your internal foundation is grounded, you can sit comfortably in intense, delicate, or messy spaces with your client. This is the "underwater portion of the iceberg" that a coach must quietly cultivate behind the scenes—it carries far more transformational power than any cognitive questioning technique.
Tina Dang: Credentials like ACC or PCC and financial milestones are useful markers to track your tangible progress. But do not allow them to become the sole yardstick of your human worth, nor use them to compare yourself against others.
When you fail to honor your own uniqueness and instead chase someone else’s benchmark, you will unconsciously compare, control, and project onto your clients. At that point, you have departed from the soul of coaching. Do the inner work first. Listen to what milestone you genuinely need right now. When you trust and back yourself, that quiet confidence becomes the very energy your clients feel and buy into.
Tina Dang: I will never encourage you to become a loud salesperson or adopt marketing tactics that make you feel like a stranger to yourself. Yet, coaching for free indefinitely is unsustainable—it starves your practice. Money is a vital energy flow that allows you to reinvest in your craft, become a finer coach, and serve at a much higher level over the long haul.
In T9, we devote dedicated space to the Prosperity Mindset alongside guest coach Phuc Hoan. We gently unpick internal blocks like "I'm not ready," "I'm not worthy," or the habit of over-giving while refusing to receive. T9 helps you build a business as a coach—ethically, deeply, and in complete alignment with your values.
Tina Dang: I will never make such a guarantee. T9 is not a ferry where we herd everyone aboard and promise to drop you off on the shore of success. T9 is a bridge connecting coach training to real-world practice—and across that bridge, you must walk on your own two feet.
What we provide are seasoned mentors who live off their coaching practice and face real-world professional dynamics daily. We help you shorten your learning curve while deeply respecting your individual pace. If you are seeking someone to magically carry you to overnight commercial success, there are programs charging thousands of dollars promising just that. T9 coaches do not prioritize fast success; they prioritize building a vocation worth living. When your depth is real, every client who crosses your threshold receives profound value.
Tina Dang: Unless you feel your current life is completely fulfilled and you have no desire for coaching to become a meaningful career or lifestyle, any serious pursuit requires investment.
T9 asks for roughly 4 sessions per month (2 hours per session) where you show up intentionally for your future. This is an investment in a career that offers long-term autonomy, aligns with who you are, and actually appreciates in value as you age because of your growing presence and ease. We provide the container for you to take radical self-responsibility, integrating the work flexibly into your life without it turning into a crushing burden.
Tina Dang: Success is a self-authored definition. Both individuals will find immense value in T9 because both are cultivating the exact same core foundation: internal groundedness, emotional regulation, deep presence, and an unshakeable, spacious composure in conversation.
The professional application that follows is tailored individually with your mentors. I strongly believe a healthy coaching ecosystem in Vietnam requires rich diversity, not a single cookie-cutter model. You can witness this exact diversity at our upcoming T9 Transformative Coaching Forum, where coaches share how they contribute in distinct ways, helping you discern the path that fits you best.
Tina Dang: I want that coach to truly see themselves, understand themselves, and honor who they are as a unique coach.
You stop comparing yourself to others, you lose the paralyzing fear of the future, and you claim full agency to design your own path. You know deep down that you are supported by an ecosystem of peers, you quote your fees with quiet confidence, you take your first professional steps with courage, and you stand as a trusted, shining light for the maturing coaching community in Vietnam.
Because T9 is a sustained commitment requiring genuine presence from both learners and mentors, we never ask you to make a decision based solely on a website document.
Before enrolling, we invite you to a 45-minute 1:1 Development Conversation with a Trainer. It is a spacious, candid session to explore:
If there is alignment, we step forward together. If not, you will still walk away with crystal clarity on where you are and what your craft needs next.
