Deepening Your Core Capacity: Readiness for ICF Credentials (ACC & PCC)

You have come a long way on your coaching journey...

You have completed your training, accumulated your practice hours, and you know your next milestone is the international ACC or PCC credential.

Yet, standing at this threshold, you might find yourself feeling slightly lost in a maze of information:

  • Where do I even begin, and how do I prepare my application?

  • How do I truly embody the ICF mindset, rather than just memorizing theory?

  • Among situational answers that seem so subtly alike, what is the key to telling them apart?

  • And most importantly, is there someone experienced enough to walk alongside me throughout this entire process?

The "Cultivating Inner Mastery" program is designed to answer those questions. This is not an exam prep class. It is a space where Tina invites you to build a resilient professional foundation, so you can step into your exam with absolute clarity.

Why "Cultivating Inner Mastery" and not "Exam Prep"?

Tina believes that a coach should never enter an exam relying solely on test-taking tricks. True readiness must come from within:

  • Embodying the 8 ICF Core Competencies & Ethics: Moving beyond reading materials to actually living and breathing these professional standards.

  • Anchored in PCC Standards: Whether you are aiming for ACC or PCC, this program uses the PCC criteria as our baseline. You will engage with the finest nuances of coaching mastery—from recognizing cultural contexts to navigating power dynamics and co-creation.

  • Developing Independent Thinking: You will learn to self-reflect: "How does this choice reflect the true ICF spirit?" or "Where is the coach positioning themselves in this relationship?"

Walking Alongside You

Many coaches do not lack capability; what they lack is a clear roadmap and someone to help them see their blind spots.

Over 17 sessions, Tina will support you with:

  • Application Calibration: Guidance on your Coaching Agreement and Coaching Log.

  • Real-World Practice: Working directly through practical scenarios commonly faced in real coaching sessions.

  • The Mock Exam Experience: With 2 custom-designed mock exams, you will not only test your knowledge but also practice managing your energy and focus under time pressure.

This program is for you, if...

  • You want to earn your ICF Credential but are unsure where to start.

  • You need an experienced mentor to challenge, refine, and guide your professional direction.

  • You want to become more grounded, professional, and human-centric in the way you show up for your clients.

TESTIMONIALS

(Coach Van Thu Hang, ICF PCC | Passed on her first attempt | Renowned Leadership & Executive Coach with extensive HR Director background)

"I’m Van Thu Hang, currently a Leadership Coach, and I was honored to achieve my ICF PCC credential at the end of this past January.

When I first qualified to apply for the PCC, I honestly wasn’t sure if my English skills would be enough to get me through the ICF Credentialing Exam. There were so many rumors and assumptions floating around about how difficult the test was, which led me to join the 'Cultivating Inner Mastery' program.

My initial goal was simply to get some exposure to mock exam questions and build confidence. But as the course unfolded, I walked away with so much more than just exam practice:

  • A profound shift in embracing ICF Ethics & Core Competencies: The program helped me recalibrate my mindset, unlearn old perspectives, and genuinely open my heart to professional standards and best practices.

  • Strengthening my inner capacity: I learned how to overcome mental barriers, navigate time pressure, and sustain my energy and focus over long stretches of time.

  • A realistic, thought-provoking prep experience: The mock scenarios we practiced were rich, complex, and incredibly challenging—which prepared me perfectly for the actual difficulty of the real exam.

If you are looking for more than just a prep class, but a space to truly ground your coaching presence, this is where you belong."

(Coach Ngoc Lanh | Passed on her first attempt | Factory CEO at Suntory PepsiCo | Avid learner, passionate about personal growth and people leadership)

"Preparing for the ACC exam in just one month was no small feat. A grueling 4-hour exam in English demanded intense concentration, all while I was juggling my day job, coaching practice, and exam preparation. Fortunately, I had Coach Tina Dang and my peer coaches by my side. Together, they helped me dive deep into the Core Competencies, the Code of Ethics, and most importantly, build my inner capacity.

Tina’s 'Cultivating Inner Mastery' program did not just help me pass the exam; it laid a rock-solid foundation—helping me understand deeply, think sharply, and approach every question with absolute confidence."

(Coach Hao Dau, ICF ACC | Passed on her first attempt | Highly energetic, endlessly dedicated, and creative in her professional coaching journey)

1. From Initial Skepticism to Absolute Gratitude

"Honestly, I wasn’t happy with this course at first. All I wanted was to focus strictly on exam prep to pass the ICF exam. But as time went on, I saw how incredibly patient Tina and Diep Linh were, and it deeply moved me. They went above and beyond, offering so much more than what was originally promised. I am so grateful for their generosity, humanity, and unwavering support."

2. Visible Progress and Growth

"When I started, my practice score was only around 50%, but now it has reached 82.5%. More importantly, I feel genuinely confident going into the exam. It’s not just about knowing how to take a test anymore—I now truly understand the essence of ICF Competencies and Coaching."

3. A Shift in Mindset and Approach

"Before this, I was self-studying, practicing questions on my own, and wasting so much time repeating the same mistakes over and over. Now, I understand that I need to approach the exam through the ICF mindset, rather than my own personal way of thinking."

4. Heartfelt Gratitude for Diep Linh (Ex Co-Mentor with Tina on first stage)

"I am truly grateful to Diep Linh. She is the first person I've met who truly embodies the spirit of coaching in her daily life. Not only in her lectures, but throughout our entire journey, she always listened, understood, and inspired me deeply."

5. Deep Admiration for Tina

"I have immense admiration for Tina—she is incredibly disciplined, passionate, and professional. She is constantly researching, practicing, and is always open to feedback to support us in the best possible way."

6. More Than Just a Course — A Meaningful Experience

"After this program, my focus shifted away from just passing the test. What matters more is that I’ve touched the beauty of human connection, understanding, and love in coaching. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone who wants to become a coach in the truest sense."

(Coach Duong Nguyen, ICF ACC | Passed on her first attempt | Chose 1-on-1 coaching to match her own pace and drive active discussions | Exceptional analytical and situational judgment skills)

"I often talk to my clients and students about 'mental clarity,' but I never could have guessed that the day I decided to study with Tina and Diep Linh would bring me such immense clarity about the coaching profession itself.

With a naturally easygoing—and let’s be honest, slightly lazy—disposition, deciding to go back to school was incredibly hard for me. But as someone who demands structured professionalism in everything I do, I wanted a legitimate credential to back up my practice.

On our very first day, Tina asked me: 'What is your goal for this class, Duong?'

'Haha, just to pass the ACC exam.'

She simply smiled.

Three months ago, that was indeed my only reason.

Little did I know, what I actually received was so much more. Now I fully understand why Tina and Diep Linh named this program 'Cultivating Inner Mastery' instead of just an ACC exam prep class.

Those three months humbled me. They helped me deeply grasp the responsibility of a true coach and realize how much more I still need to refine. The program is anchored by two core pillars: the Code of Ethics and the Core Competencies. The two instructors lead their respective parts so beautifully; they truly seem born for them.

  • The Code of Ethics initially sounded as dry as a high school civics class, but the case studies were incredibly fascinating. They covered so many real-life scenarios we might encounter in the future. Faced with such gray areas, it was hard to know what was truly right. Yet, thanks to Tina’s clarity, everything became effortlessly clear. Her warm, cheerful, honest, and non-judgmental nature made learning fast and light.

  • The Core Competencies are entirely about the coach's inner capacity and technique. Diep Linh, with her profound grasp of language, helped me dissect every single competency with meticulous detail. I pride myself on having decent English, but sitting down to hear Linh analyze the deeper layers made me realize how much wisdom these theories actually hold for real-world practice. Many times, I found myself thinking, 'How wonderfully human this is.'

I originally went into this looking for exam shortcuts and 'hacks' to make the test easier. But the only 'shortcut' I found was a vast ocean of knowledge and a deep sense of humility needed to become a real coach. Reflecting on it now, this felt more like a retreat for self-cultivation than an exam prep course.

While the tuition isn't something everyone would register for without a second thought, to gain this level of insight—and to pass the ICF exam on my very first try—is, in my opinion, worth every penny.

Due to my personality and schedule, I chose the 1-on-1 format with both teachers. Of course, this gave me the freedom to ask anything, to embrace my moments of ignorance, and to be completely flexible with my time. But even when reviewing the group class recordings, I could see that everyone was given the space to learn in their own unique way.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve written such a detailed review. But I felt it was necessary. And I want others to experience these good fruits from Tina, Linh, and the humanistic spirit of the ICF.

If you want to ask about the course, message Tina.

If you want to ask about the experience, feel free to reach out to me.

Duong Nguyen, ICF Associate Certified Coach. July 2025 — Feeling deeply grateful."

(Coach Nguyen Chuyen, ICF ACC | Passed on her first attempt | A resilient, hard-working CEO and dedicated mother who balanced family, business, and early-morning/late-night study sessions to build a rock-solid coaching foundation)

"Receiving my ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential from the ICF today brings an indescribable joy to my heart. It has been a very long time since a single moment made me laugh out loud with sheer delight, my eyes shining like a child receiving her very first prize.

Congratulations to Chuyen—the girl who has officially written her name among the first 100 ACC-certified coaches in Vietnam!

My path to coaching was a beautiful twist of fate.

I actually started coaching back in 2018—though back then, the lines between coaching, mentoring, and training were still quite blurry to me. I poured my heart into creating value, yet I couldn’t quite put a name to what I was doing.

Until one day, I decided: it was time to professionalize this path, study systematically, and truly understand who I am in the journey of supporting others' growth.

I still remember my teacher's words:

'Coaching is hard. But if you are truly committed, this path leads to an international credential.'

And today—I did it, Teacher! Thank you for your guidance and your belief in me, Ms. Nguyen Hoang Anh.

Two Years of Quiet Dedication:

  • 80+ hours of structured training at LCV—where I was taught everything from mindset to skill, from theory to inner strength.

  • 20+ hours of deep mentoring.

  • 200+ hours of active coaching—where every day was a journey of creating value, not just for my clients, but for myself.

From this day forward, I commit to using this credential not as a mere title, but as a tool for contribution. I will dedicate pro-bono coaching hours to mothers and women seeking peace, happiness, and autonomy in life. I will also continue to support young entrepreneurs in developing themselves to build resilient startups and live aligned with their core values.

For me, Coaching is not just a profession—Coaching is a calling.

And today, I officially take my first steps on this path—with a vibrant heart and an unwavering belief in human potential.

And when reflecting on this journey, I cannot fail to mention the extraordinary individuals who walked alongside and lifted me up every step of the way.

I am deeply grateful to Tina Dang, who spent so much time discussing the things I was still confused about, struggling with, or lost in. There were mornings when she would wake up at 5:00 AM just to mentor me 1-on-1. Her dedication did not just transmit knowledge; it passed down the true spirit of a coach: patient, deep, and always putting the other person at the center.

I am deeply grateful to Linh Diep Pham, who quietly observed and supported me in her own unique way. Thanks to her, I was able to maintain my well-being and balance my studies, work, and personal emotions. She was a gentle yet rock-solid anchor for me.

I am deeply grateful to Hong Ngoc Nguyen, who shared the very first information about ICF with me, guided my roadmap step-by-step, and believed in me even when I lacked confidence in myself.

I am grateful to my peers, classmates, and colleagues—those who went before and inspired me, those who walked beside and encouraged me, and those who followed and gave me strength. Every single person was a piece of the puzzle that helped me see myself more clearly, understand why I chose Coaching, and why I must keep moving forward. It is these pieces that turned a journey—which was sometimes fragile and unsteady—into one filled with inner resilience and light."

(Coach Ananda Vu | Completed Cohort 5 and chose to return for Cohort 7 to deepen her inner mastery even further)

"I’ve heard it from a few people, and read it in a few books: 'Coaching is a way of life.' Over the past two months, I have truly been living that phrase through the 'Cultivating Inner Mastery' program for ACC and PCC coaches, guided and taught by Tina Dang.

The curriculum itself consists of the core foundations that anyone can access—the ICF Code of Ethics and the 8 Revised Core Competencies. Yet, the sessions with Tina and my peers always unlocked grander dimensions, not just about coaching as a profession, but about life itself. Tina, much like the ICF, doesn't 'hold our hands' to tell us the doing—what to say, what questions to ask, or how to behave in a session. Instead, she teaches us the being—how to be coaching in our daily lives. Creating a safe, trusting space, showing up with wholehearted presence, listening deeply, co-creating, and trusting the client's inner brilliance... being open, curious, flexible, and entirely client-centered... these are not just mindsets or competencies. They are truly a way of living, a way of engaging with those around us to foster high-quality connections.

But there is an exceptionally special gift I received from this course, one that our lovely teacher helped me uncover: learning how to love myself.

While we study to understand the professionalism that the ICF expects, I was frequently moved to tears realizing that these competencies and ethical guidelines are actually designed to protect, care for, and honor the coach. I learned how to say 'No,' how to listen to my inner voice and intuition, and how to sit quietly with myself before and after every session. I learned to communicate directly and with integrity when issues arise, and how to establish healthy boundaries when recognizing potential conflicts of interest... and so much more.

It genuinely felt like a class on how to live. To say I felt transformed is not an exaggeration. I went from wondering how to do things 'right,' how to do 'enough,' and how to be 'good' for others—to a place where I allow myself to be vulnerable. I now pause to reflect on what happens, recognize my own patterns, and allow myself to ask for help. I feel cared for, protected, free, understood, and seen. I don't need to be perfect, I don't need to be 'enough,' I don't need to save anyone, and I don't have to play the savior of the world. Through this, I can see the conscious evolution of my own journey—where I stumble, where I lose my balance, yet where I still move forward step by step with steady ground, enjoying the ride and gathering lessons for my presence today.

Because of this, I arrived at every class feeling like a weary traveler returning home—a place where I could relax, be myself, feel supported, and be loved. I brought the stumbles from my outer life back to this home, only to be heard, understood, embraced, and untangled. I realized that most of the time, I was the one tying myself up in knots. It turns out that simply living and practicing according to the ethical standards and competencies allows us to live as our truest selves, to come back home.

How beautiful it is. I am both surprised and deeply moved to realize that learning coaching is, ultimately, learning how to live in this world. Deeply grateful to Tina and my classmates for walking alongside me on this brief but profoundly meaningful path."
